This show is about five dads going out for a two-day-one-night trip with their children, so that they could improve their relationship and spend more time together. I didn't really started watching it until about three weeks ago, my friend recommended it to me. I knew about it, I just dont feel like watching it. Turns out, it was WAY better than i thought it was. It was so entertaining, sometimes funny, sometimes the children are so cute you want to bang yourself to the wall, at least that's what I wanted to do sometimes.
I finished all the episodes during a weekend, and i couldn't be more excited to talk to my friend about what I watched and how cute they were when I see her on Monday at school. I've never really loved any korean variety show, except for Running Man (best korean variety show ever) until I watched this. Running Man is my forever top of the list, so this show would be a second. The ratings for this show is very good in Korea and I was like, duhhh.
The cast consist of :
- Sung Dong Il - Sung Joon
Sung Dong Il is an actor, if you all watched My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, he's that guy that always wears black and loves Hong Kong movies. He was also present in dramas like Jeon Woo Chi and Jang Ok Jung. He is 46 years old, oldest among the dads, and his wife is pretty (just saying). I'm not sure if its just me but i think he has a strong charisma for his age.
Sung Joon is Sung Dong Il's 7 year old son. I personally think he is very fashioned and styled for his age. He's cute and hot lol. His hairstyle is nice and he looks good. Apparently he has more of a cool personality, always putting his hands in his pocket (or maybe he's just cold). He is kind of afraid of his father at first, but later on he realises that his father loves him like he do, and they become a lot more closer than before. For a child his age, he is actually quite matured and responsilble. A good man he is.
- Kim Sung Joo - Kim Min Guk
Kim Sung Joo is a MC and a broadcaster. He is currently 41 years old. I seriously dont know who he is until I watched this show. I'm not a really big fan of his, he reminds me of Suk Jin from Running Man, which I'm not a fan of too. The feeling they give me is just so similar. It's not like i hate him or anything, just not really fond of. I just don't think he's a very good father (he wants his son to sleep outside in the cold with him), and he is just so... weak.
Kim Sung Joo's son, Kim Min Guk, gave me the exact feeling his dad did. He's 9 years old and still, he cries alot. In the first few episodes, he cries in like almost every episode. He cries whenever something that he doesnt like happens, he cries for his own mistakes, he cries for his dad's mistakes, he cries for Jun Su's mistakes. He is the eldest among the children but he cries the most. Honestly, I'm not particularly a fan of cry babies too. But overall, he's still a good kid. At certain times, he could be very matured.
- Lee Jong Hyuk - Lee Jun Su
Lee Jong Hyuk is an actor. He stars in the drama Gentlemen Class as... the guy that marries the rich older woman (I forgot his character's name), and he is starring in an upcoming drama with SNSD's Soo Young, wow! He is 39 years old, and I think he looks really good for a man at his age. Maybe not in the picture above but in other times, he does look good. As a dad, he is fun and cool, and it'd be nice to have a dad like him.
Lee Jun Su is Lee Jong Hyuk's 6 year old son. HE IS SO ADORABLE I LOVE HIM SO MUCH I WANT HIM TO BE MINE HJSHSHDKJKHDKJ. He could be annoying sometimes, but him being annoying makes him EVEN cuter! I am so in love with him, why can't he be my little brother? The only thing about him is that he has a problem concentrating. His inner thoughts tends to wander off to some other places when people is talking, he always smiles without a reason, and when you bring him somewhere, he tends to walk really slowly and wander off to some other places. Which also makes him cute. I can't watch enough of Jun Su.
- Yoon Min Soo - Yoon Hoo
Yoon Min Soo is singer and group member of Vibe and former member of 4Men (they are not kpop idols). He is 33, he got married at a really young age because his wife got pregnant, shotgun marriage it is. I kind of think its cool, not the shotgun-marriage-because-girlfriend-got-pregnant thing, but the fact that he had a child at such an early age, their age gap is smaller and they get along like friends. I like the realtionship between him and his son, he teases him, chat with him like normal friends do, and I think its really nice.
Yoon Hoo is Yoon Min Soo's son. He is 8 years older, same as Sung Joon. HE IS ALSO EXTREMELY ADORABLE I LOVE HIM LIKE I LOVE JUN SU I CANT DECIDE USHAJDKSNA. Yoon Hoo likes to eat, especially eggs, and he eats alot of them. Seriously, like ALOT. Throughout the episodes, I think he ate eggs in like every episode, at least two eggs each time. Which makes him really cute, especially when he stuff everything inside his mouth and smiles brightly whenever he sees food. He eats almost everything except for kimchi.
- Song Jong Kook - Song Ji Ah
Song Jong Kook is a 34 years old professional soccer player. He participated in the 2002 World Cup, where the South Korean team made it to the semi finals, which is a big thing for them. But he has retired now and got married. He loves his daughter very much. He practically does everything for her, and will do everything for her if she insisted. And, he is good looking too. I like that he loves his daughter so much he is willing to do anything for her. I wish I could have a dad like him.
Song Ji Ah is Song Jong Kook's daughter. She is same age with Jun Su, both 6 years old. She is the only girl in the program, and the boys will always try to look after er or something, except for Jun Su though, since he can't really look after himself yet. Ji Ah has a loveline with Yoon Hoo. Yoon Hoo is particularly fond of her since the first day they met, he always follows her around, talks to her, and Ji Ah doesn't hate it. She even said once that next time when she grows up, she wants to marry Yoon Hoo. SO CUTE! I totally ship this couple, I love Ji Ah and Yoon Hoo together.
